I will be working on finishing a novel I started about 8 months ago about a real historical woman. La Voisin was a French witch of the time of Louis XIV, popularly called “the Sun King”. Everything flourished during his long reign, including scandals, and my main character, Catherine Deschayes Monvoisin, was involved in one of the French court’s worst scandals: le affaire des poisons. Will me luck, everyone. I just hope her spirit will dictate her story to me all month. I’m even willing to get up at insane times of the morning to write this very important story.
